JobEase is an AI-powered job application platform that helps users:

- Practice interviews with AI-powered feedback

3. User Accounts
Account Creation:
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
- You must provide accurate and complete information
- You are responsible for maintaining account security
- You must not share your account credentials
- One account per person - multiple accounts are prohibited
Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information in resumes or applications
- Use the Service for spam or unsolicited mass communications
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits or subscription tiers
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the Service
- Use automated scripts or bots (except our provided automation features)
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
5. Subscription and Payment
Free Plan: JobEase offers a free tier with limited features.
Paid Plans:
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually
- Payments are processed through Stripe
- Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice
- Refunds are provided in accordance with our refund policy
- You can cancel your subscription at any time
- Upon cancellation, access continues until the end of the billing period
6. Content and Intellectual Property
Your Content:
- You retain ownership of content you upload (resumes, cover letters, etc.)
- You grant us license to use your content to provide the Service
- You represent that you have rights to all content you provide
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your content
Our Content:
- JobEase platform, features, and code are our proprietary property
- AI-generated content (resumes, cover letters) created using our Service belongs to you
- You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission
7. AI-Generated Content
JobEase uses AI (Anthropic Claude) to generate resumes, cover letters, and interview feedback:
- AI-generated content is provided "as-is" without guarantees
- You are responsible for reviewing and editing AI output before submission
- We are not liable for AI errors, inaccuracies, or job application rejections
- AI responses may vary and are not deterministic
8. Auto-Apply Feature
Our auto-apply feature submits applications on your behalf:
- You control which job preferences and criteria are used
- Applications are submitted using your provided information
- We cannot guarantee application acceptance or interview invitations
- You are responsible for monitoring and managing submitted applications
- Daily application limits apply based on your subscription tier
9. Third-Party Services
JobEase integrates with third-party services:
- Job boards (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.)
- Authentication providers (Google, LinkedIn OAuth)
- Payment processors (Stripe)
- AI services (Anthropic Claude)
These third-party services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their actions or content.
10. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
No Employment Guarantee: JobEase does not guarantee job offers, interviews, or employment.
Service Availability: We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, JobEase shall not be liable for:
- Lost opportunities, wages, or employment
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Service interruptions or data loss
- Third-party actions or content
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold JobEase harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Violation of these Terms
- Content you submit or transmit
- Infringement of third-party rights
12. Privacy
Your use of JobEase is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data.
13. Dispute Resolution
Informal Resolution: Please contact us first to resolve any disputes informally.
Arbitration: Any unresolved disputes shall be settled through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

14. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time through Settings. Upon termination:
- Your access to the Service will cease
- Your data will be deleted within 30 days (except as required by law)
- No refunds for partial subscription periods
- Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
